Sally was my first best friend. I have so many lovely memories of playing in the back garden at Trinity Court with her. She taught me that you can make earthworms come out of the ground by knocking on the dirt, as they think it's raining! With my grandparents on the other side of the world, Sally was my adopted grandmother from the day that my parents brought me home to Trinity Court. Even after we moved to the other side of Wimbledon, I would still enjoy every opportunity we'd have to spend time together. I can still remember her and Bernie's home phone number by heart! I'm very sorry I cannot be there for Sally's funeral. If it weren't for the travel restrictions, I would have come. Fortunately, before I left London, she gave me a very precious gift -- a golden fish, which she said brings happiness and good luck -- which I keep on my desk and look at everyday. So she is still with me in spirit. Sending lots of love to her family and friends. Avinash xxx
